When the reducer is working, the working temperature of lubricating oil shall not exceed 90 ℃. If the temperature is too high, the physical and chemical properties of the oil will change. For example, the viscosity of the lubricating oil is reduced, the lubrication is reduced, and the tooth surface is glued. Several ways of heat dissipation of planetary reducer are as follows. The bearing capacity of the oil film may eventually lead to direct contact of the working tooth surface:

        1.If the natural cooling can not meet the cooling requirements of the general box, the cooling fins can be added outside the box, and the arrangement of the fins should enable the air to circulate naturally.

        2.Fan cooling can be used if the natural cooling of the box alone cannot meet the requirements.

        3.The oil tank of the water cooled planetary reducer is equipped with a serpentine water pipe, which is generally made of copper or brass. The pipe is filled with cooling water, and the cooling water takes part of the wind heat of the lubricating oil. To sum up, the basic cooling methods of cycloid pin gear reducer and gear reducer include natural cooling, fan cooling and water cooling.
